Publication Decisions

The Editor-in-Chief holds final authority over decisions regarding the acceptance of papers for publication. This decision is based on the quality, significance, originality or novelty of the work, its contribution to the scientific literature, as well as the reviewers’ comments and the recommendations provided by the Editors. When appropriate, the Editor-in-Chief may consult with the Editor(s) involved in the review process.

An exception arises when the Editor-in-Chief is an author of the submitted paper. In such cases, the Editor-in-Chief will be removed from the entire review and decision-making process for that paper. Instead, the paper will be assigned to another Editor, who will hold final decision-making authority for that specific paper.
