Funding Policy

InterPore Journal is committed to transparency in research funding and supports the principles of openness and accountability in scholarly publishing. In accordance with best practices in publication ethics, authors are expected to disclose all sources of funding and financial support related to the research and preparation of their manuscript.

The disclosure of funding information enables readers, reviewers, and editors to better understand how research was supported and to assess any potential influence that funding sources may have had on the work.

Funding Disclosure Requirements

Authors should disclose all sources of financial support related to the submitted work, including but not limited to:

  • Research grants from funding agencies;
  • Institutional funding;
  • Industry sponsorship;
  • Support for salaries, equipment, materials, data collection, or analysis;
  • Travel support or reimbursement related to the research;
  • Any other financial or material contributions that supported the work.

Where funding has been received, authors should provide:

  • The full name of the funding organization(s);
  • Relevant grant, award, project, or contract number(s), where applicable;
  • The role of the funder(s) in the study design, data collection, analysis, interpretation of results, manuscript preparation, and/or the decision to publish, where relevant.

Funding information provided during manuscript submission should be complete and accurate.

Funding Statements in Published Articles

Funding information has historically been collected during manuscript submission and deposited in journal metadata where applicable. As part of the journal's ongoing alignment with publication ethics and transparency best practices, including guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), a formal Funding Policy has been introduced and funding statements are being incorporated into the journal's manuscript requirements.

Authors are required to disclose all sources of funding during manuscript submission. Authors are also encouraged to include a dedicated Funding statement within the manuscript's Declarations section.

Where funding has been received, authors should identify the funding source(s), applicable grant, award, project, or contract number(s), and any other relevant support received for the work.

Where no funding has been received, authors are encouraged to state this explicitly.

Examples of acceptable funding statements include:

Funding: This work was supported by [Funding Agency] under Grant No. XXXXX.

Funding: The research leading to these results received funding from [Funding Agency] under Grant Agreement No. XXXXX.

Funding: No funding was received for conducting this study.

Funding: The authors received no financial support for the research, authorship, and/or publication of this article.

Funding information disclosed during manuscript submission does not replace disclosure within the manuscript itself and may be published alongside the article where applicable.
