Welcome to InterPore Journal

InterPore Journal is a new international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal, entirely published and owned by The International Society for Porous Media (InterPore). Like the Society, our aims are to advance our understanding of, and research on, technical and industrial advances in porous media. We strive to gain an improved understanding of the processes and phenomena involved and provide a medium in which this information can be easily shared within the international research community. Our overarching goal is to become the focal point for the worldwide porous media community, where high-quality research on the wide range of multidisciplinary multiscale topics related to porous media science and technology is published and made available for all.

Exciting News for 2024!

To celebrate our ongoing commitment to advancing research, we are pleased to announce that there will be no article processing charges (APCs) for any articles submitted during 2024. This initiative is part of our dedication to supporting researchers and ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder the publication of impactful research.

Articles are published under a Creative Commons license on a rolling basis following final publication approval by the authors. Information on all published articles will be included in the bi-weekly e-newsletters sent out to all society members, as well as all non-members who have signed up for the newsletter (ca. 3000 recipients), and on the society website.
